Meditation Stools – Black Patina Bamboo

We chose to use Bamboo because it is an eco-friendly renewable resource that can be harvested without damaging the environment. Bamboo products are also biodegradable and recyclable, making them a more sustainable option than products made from other materials.

Our Meditation Stool is slightly different to the original Japanese model, in that we have put a curve on the edge like an ice-cream stick and raised the seat so that people with large calves can fit easily underneath it. The angle is very specific because it allows the meditator to quickly find the optimal pelvic position on which to start resting their vertebrae one at a time thereby releasing structural tension.
